Thursday 31st

We'll the last day of our holiday has arrived, I know everyone enjoyed themselves especially, Luke, Tom and Max. I think everyone agreed that the time at the Hideaway was the best time as it is more relaxed and feels Fijian. The people were the friendliest and the boys where we'll known so they couldn't get into trouble. They met some nice friends there as we'll.

Today the boys and dad had another game of mini golf while mum, Gra and Pop went souviner shopping.

Tanaka Fiji from the Aussie holidaymakers.

Bula Fiji from the Neals.

Both flights left on time with Sydney flight half empty so we got 2 exit row seats with plenty of leg room. The Brisbane flight only had about 50 on board so there was plenty of room. Max had his plastic sword confiscated but was able to keep his Fijian wooden axe which could cause more damage, couldn't work out their logic.

Everyone arrived back in Aus safely, the Neals travelling back to Sawtell and the Roches staying in Sydney for the night and travelling back to Newcastle tomorrow.

The End.

Wednesday 30th

Today is our last full day and we are going to spend it around the resort, it was swimming in the morning followed by mini golf in the afternoon.

A beautiful sunset for the last evening of our holiday.

Tonight we went over to the Golf club for a casual meal to celebrate Luke's 12th birthday.

Tuesday 29th

PWe'll we woke up this morning to blue sky's and no wind, so we should have a great day enjoying the good weather.

First off it was Jet-skiing, Dad and Luke went first.

Next it was Dad and Tom, who where the only ones to come a cropper and fall off.

Then it was Max's turn.

It was then off to the Raddison pool (that we weren't supposed to swim in) where the boys had a great time. The Raddison appears to cater better for families.

In the afternoon the Neal family went to a big water slide part near the resort.

To finish off the day the adults went to the Port-O-Call restaurant for Pop's 60th birthday. We all had a really nice meal and evening.

Pop's meal was 5, 1/2 lobsters and they where delicious.

We then ventured over to Chimes for some music and more drinks.

Monday 28th

Today we leave the Hideaway and move to the Sheriton on Denaru. We have all had a great time here, it is a very relaxed resort with no pressure to do anything. It was a pity the weather wasn't a bit better so we could have gone fishing but the time was spent doing other things.

The boys went for a glass bottom boat ride before we left the Hideaway.

Leaving the Hideaway.

The trip to Denaru was better than the trip on the first day, the following pictures where taken along the way.

We checked out the Sheraton and then went for a walk to find a pool  and have some lunch.

It was then off to the marina on the blue Bula bus.

It was off to Feast for dinner, lucky it was 50% off as the bill was $381 FJD.
